Chaplain Jobs and Opportunities

3D Character Chaplains may find some openings in the traditional chaplain job market, but overall there has been a shift in the field of chaplaincy.  Traditional chaplain jobs are still in demand, but new and specialized chaplain jobs are becoming more significant every day. 

Workplace chaplain jobs, community chaplain jobs, corporate chaplain jobs and a host of other exciting opportunities are what 3D Character Chaplains are developing.  These more specialized chaplain jobs are quickly becoming the new trend in specialized Christian ministry. 

These roles allow the chaplain to interact with people in everyday life situations.  Chaplains cultivate relationships while promoting character growth.  It is through these relationships that the Character Chaplain becomes known and available when needed in the community.  If an unchurched person experiences a crisis, death in their family, needs someone to perform pre-marriage counseling or the marriage ceremony they know who to turn to.

3D Character Chaplains also have more opportunity to develop their own ministries and work for themselves rather than punch the time clock for someone else.  This gives them more flexible schedules.  It also allows them to establish their own level of ministry and income.  Some chaplain’s may work part time in their chaplaincy job while they are ministering in another area such as pastoral work or Christian counseling. 

Many 3D Character Chaplains choose chaplaincy as their full time occupation.  It is important to keep in mind that these chaplains are professionals with professional incomes.  3D Character Chaplains are trained in a wide range of skills such as Christian counseling, pastoral care, character development, weddings, funerals and basic core health. 

3D Character Chaplains also have the option of training for a specialized field.  These “Advanced Certified” chaplains can be found in hospitals, hospice care, police stations, residential communities, jail, school or colleges to name a few.  Their advanced training in specialized areas helps them to be more effective in their calling. 

3D Character Chaplains who are highly successful may also choose to become a “Certified Chaplain Mentor.”  This allows them to replicate themselves into the lives of other chaplains.  Chaplain mentors live by our motto “Train Four: Increase Your Significance.”
