Character Chaplains Career Path's

The career paths and income potential for 3D Character Chaplains are limitless.  There is far more opportunity here than just a chaplain job.  3D Character Chaplaincy is a career and calling.  The first step is to become 3D Certified.  These chaplains can stay at this level and provide basic Chaplain services or they can choose to become Advanced Certified Chaplains with additional training and certification in a specialized area.  The next career advancement would be a Certified Chaplain Mentor who supervises chaplains working with their 3D Chaplain Center.

The 3D Chaplain program is designed so that chaplain’s can choose their level of participation.  If the 3D Character Chaplain is also a local pastor or has other responsibilities they may choose to stay part time.  This gives them a greater reach and impact into the community without requiring them to give up other ministry activities.  Other ministers such as pastoral counselors will also find that character chaplaincy expands their ministry and goes hand in hand with their current activities. 

We do not require 3D Character Chaplains to be exclusive or full time, but there cannot be a conflict of interest.  Potential conflicts will be discovered in the application process and evaluated on a case by case basis.

Chaplains who choose to become Advanced Certified Chaplains are advancing their careers and their impact in their community.  These specialized chaplains may focus on prison chaplaincy, healthcare, police or other areas listed in the chart below.  This gives them the opportunity to focus their efforts, use their gifts and experiences in any number of industries. 

The calling of some chaplains is in the direction of leadership.  For these ministers there are significant opportunities to run a chaplaincy center in their local community and to train additional chaplains to work with them.  These Certified Chaplain Mentors also host local and regional training and participate in the overall advancement of 3D Character Chaplaincy.
