Are character chaplains ministers?
Yes. Character Chaplains are commissioned, licensed or ordained ministers depending on their experience in ministry. All three of these designations are clergy credentials. The 3D Character Chaplain program is a division of the National Conservative Christian Church. Therefore, all chaplains are credentialed through the N.C.C.C.
Do chaplains push religion in the workplace?
No. 3D Character Chaplains promote character development in the workplace and other community settings. They offer other services such as pastoral counseling, core health, spiritual development, weddings, funerals and leadership development on an opt in basis. This means there is no conflict in regards to religion for the workplace, schools or other settings.
Why do chaplains focus on character development?
Character is a foundational element that is missing from our culture. Character as defined by Character First as “The qualities built into an individual’s life that determine his or her response, regardless of circumstances.” Helping people develop character will help them improve every area of their lives. When character is increased in the workplace there is higher productivity, less conflict on the job, better customer service and overall a happier workforce. If character increased among company owners, CEO’s, stockholders and managers the employee’s would not be taken advantage of as much and maybe investors could rely on solid business practices.
This would dramatically change the end results for any business, employee or investor.
Can character chaplains perform weddings?
Yes. Character Chaplains are fully credentialed ministers who have been trained to do weddings, funerals and other ministry activities. 3D Character Chaplains can also do pre-marriage counseling and follow up after the ceremony to help insure that the new marriage has all the help needed to be successful for the long run.
Do chaplains give medical advice?
No, absolutely not. 3D Character Chaplains are not trained medical professionals and they do not have credentials to practice medicine. However, they are trained in basic nutrition and can help anyone understand how to be healthy and stay healthy. Character Chaplains can address eating habits, exercise, weight loss and supplementation. All of which are important for a healthy lifestyle.
Here is an interesting and scary fact reported by Ray Stand M.D. “Less than 6% of graduating physicians have any formal training in nutrition. Less than that receive any training in supplementation.”
It would do us all well to learn a little more about nutrition and healthy living. 3D Character Chaplains are trained to address issues in all three dimensions of life; spirit, soul and body.
